Comprehensive Resolution of Customs Clearance Challenges for a Jordanian Client
Client Procurement Needs:
The Jordanian client independently procured automotive components from three suppliers, encountering customs clearance issues at the port of Aqaba.
Challenges:
Discrepancies between clearance documentation and actual goods led to a $5000 fine and seizure of the cargo by customs. The three suppliers engaged in mutual blame-shifting, prompting the client's urgent need for resolution.
Solutions:
1.We deployed a specialized team to verify invoices and packing lists from all three suppliers, involving a meticulous check of up to 3000 product varieties.
2.Identifying data discrepancies in two supplier records, we promptly dispatched professionals to conduct on-site meetings at their respective factories in Guangzhou and Zhejiang, confirming and organizing accurate data.
3.We provided the client with revalidated data, facilitating the smooth retrieval of their cargo.
4.Through effective communication with the suppliers, the fine was reduced from $5,000 to $1,000. In the subsequent order, compensation was arranged in the form of additional goods.
Our Achievements:
We successfully assumed the role of the exclusive representative for the Jordanian client in China, demonstrating our proficiency in resolving customs clearance issues.
